The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) issued the Annual Energy Outlook early release on Monday, which expected domestic oil and natural gas production to increase substantially.
US domestic crude oil production has increased from 5.1 million barrels per day in 2007 to 5.5 million barrels per day in 2010, and is estimated to reach 6.7 million barrels per day in 2020, the highest level since 1994, said the report.
